PKDC is the resident professional dance company of the Berest Dance Center, located in Port Washington, NY.

PATRICIA KENNY DANCE COLLECTION (PKDC), originally conceived in 2001 under the artistic direction of Patricia Kenny Reilly, is a unique repertory company back with brand new work.  Vital and riveting, the company performs pieces created by Patricia Kenny along with many of the nation's most prominent and current choreographers. Formerly of the Parsons Dance Company, Patricia Kenny founded PKDC with the intention of bringing together a strong troupe of dancers; individuals who exuded passion and artistry in their ability to depict choreography in its most authentic light. The company's mission is to embrace both emerging and established modern dance choreographers, offering a home for them to create original dances and work with talented artists in a professional atmosphere.

After several successful seasons and strong reviews, Ms. Kenny Reilly decided to place PKDC on hiatus as she went on to marry and raise three children. She continued to choreograph for universities, Circle of Dance Repertory Company, and local elementary schools in the years to follow.  After a much anticipated relaunch in the Fall of 2012, Patricia has reclaimed her role as artistic director of PKDC.  The company now enters its third return season in New York, offering again a fertile ground for choreographers and dancers alike to fulfill their artistic visions and share dance with a wide range of audiences.  Patricia intends to continue serving as an educational and artistic beacon for Long Island which has become the new home base for Patricia Kenny Dance Collection.
