Desiree Page LeMay (Rehearsal Director, Dancer, Choreographer)


Desiree started her journey into the dance world training at a Royal Academy of Dance school and then went on to broaden her skills in many other dance styles. She has a vast musical theater background and has had the pleasure of performing in shows such as Will Rogers Follies, Hair, Guys and Dolls and Once on This Island. She has also toured the country in the 1st National Broadway Tour of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man. Her televised spots include dancing in the opening number of the 2006 New York City Marathon, Nick-at-Nite spots, the 1996 Olympics and various commercial work. Desiree has also taught at several studios in NYC and worked as a judge for Star Systems Regional and National Competitions. Desiree graduated summa cum laude from Long Island College school of Nursing and is currently a registered nurse. She is proud to be a member of PKDC and share the stage with such an amazing group of artists.

Theresa Diaz-DiLallo (Dancer, Music Coordinator)​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Theresa Diaz-DiLallo graduated cum laude from Queens College with a BA in Dance and has a Masters Degree in Elementary Education.  Theresa performed with Circle of Dance Repertory Co. for two decades during which she had the pleasure of working with choreographers: Nancy Brier, Carl Paris, Diane McCarthy, Jennifer Weaver, Ben Munisteri and Patricia Kenny Reilly. She also performed with the Dany Holdstein Dance Company. Ms. DiLallo teaches and choreographs at Moves and Motions in Manhasset, NY and DHTW Dance & Fitness in Greenvale, NY. She is a teaching artist for Circle of Dance working in elementary schools where she does arts in education.  Ms. DiLallo also conducts workshops for school teachers on how to integrate movement into the academic curriculum. Theresa feels blessed for all the amazing dance opportunities she has had and is thrilled to be dancing with PKDC!

Kelly Butterworth (Dancer, Website Coordinator)

A Long Island native, Kelly graduated from Adelphi University where she studied dance and psychology. She continued her education at Adelphi, earning her M.A. in Childhood Education with the Advanced Certificate in Special Education. Under the direction of Frank Augustyn, Kelly had the opportunity to perform the works of Paul Taylor, Martha Graham, Doug Varone, Danny Grossman, and Orion Duckstein, amongst others. Her dance training extends to tap, jazz and hip hop outside of the university setting. As a NYS Certified Dance Educator, Kelly teaches at various studios on the Island and recently joined the staff at her alma mater, Nassau BOCES Long Island High School for the Arts. Through the high school, she also runs a collaborative program that brings dance to students with special needs. Kelly is currently performing with Dance Householder, under the direction of Samuel Householder, whose work was recently showcased at Dixon Place and Boston University. Kelly was with Circle of Dance prior to joining Patricia Kenny Dance Collection, and has been dancing with PKDC since the company’s relaunch in 2012.

Ashley Chandler (Dancer, Publicity Coordinator)

 

 

A native of the Boston area, Ashley graduated magna cum laude with a B.F.A. in Dance from Adelphi University in May 2010. While at Adelphi, Ms. Chandler had the honor of dancing the work of Azure Barton, Danny Grossman, Alexandre Prior, Leda Meredith, Paul Taylor and Doug Varone, amongst others. Since graduation she has performed with Boston's Monkeyhouse Dance Theatre and If/Then Dance.  Ashley began working with Patricia Kenny in 2010 through Circle of Dance and transitioned with the company as they relaunched Patricia Kenny Dance Collection in 2012.  While dancing with the company, Ashley also works for Lululemon Athletica as a store manager in the New York City region. In her role with Lululemon and as a dancer with PKDC, Ashley is grateful to share her passion both on and off the stage.

 

Reisa Forster (Dancer)

Reisa began her studies at Fiorello H. LaGuardia H.S. of Music and Art & The Performing Arts under the direction of Ms. Michelle Mathesius. Her training there included a variety of modern and ballet techniques such as Graham, Horton, Limon, and Vaganova. Reisa continued her training and professional development by attending several intensives that include French Woods Festival, American College Dance Festival and the Boston Conservatory. She had a great opportunity to intern at Broadway Dance Center where she was given the chance to work alongside The Pulse and participate in their dance workshop that was held in Times Square in New York City. Reisa graduated cum laude with her BFA in Dance from The College at Brockport in May of 2011. Her studies there included Release and Bill Evans technique as well as many performance opportunities throughout her four years of study. Currently, Reisa is a committed company member of Patricia Kenny Dance Collection. For her future dance career, she hopes to continue pursuing her dreams of performing for live audiences all over the world.

Andy Jacobs (Dancer)​

Andrew Jacobs grew up in Natick, Massachusetts and began his training at the Boston Ballet School and later at Impulse Dance Studios. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Adelphi University with a B.F.A. in Dance. Mr. Jacobs joined Patricia Kenny Dance Collection in the Fall of 2013 and is also a member of Mazzini Dance Collective, Amy Marshall Dance Company, Maya Kite + Dancers, and has guest danced for David Parker & The Bang Group as well as Neville Dance Theater. Mr. Jacobs will be starting his apprenticeship with Chris Masters Dance in the spring of 2015, and you can also catch him in Jordan Matters new book ‘Dancers After Dark’ in 2016. 

 

Amanda Webster (Dancer, Social Media Coordinator)

Originally from Connecticut, Amanda graduated magna cum laude in May 2012 from Adelphi University where she received a B.F.A in dance performance. While at Adelphi, Amanda had the opportunity of dancing works by Orion Duckstein, Doug Varone, Paul Taylor, Danny Gross​man, Christopher Flemming and Jaques Cesbron amongst others. Past involvements include interning for Broadway Dance Center’s PULSE, Complexions Contemporary Ballet summer intensives, Amy Marshall Dance Company Summer Intensive and studying abroad in Italy with World Dance Movement. This is Ms. Webster's third season with Patricia Kenny Dance Collection, and she is grateful to be surrounded by such talented and passionate dancers.
